An impressive career can conceal some of the darkest stories beneath. The winner of the USA and World champions in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her present standing through plenty of effort and enormous amount of perseverance. Born to a single mother in a family of five children, Jones had a difficult and impoverished growing up. Her mom lived in the road and even inside the basement of a church in the area in the past. A life of constant movement forced Jones to change schools and attend the same school each year, until she began high school. In Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones resided apart from her mother to pursue her interest in track events. Jones was a resident of four homes during her high school years in order to study in a single location. Jones as a cellist in the school's orchestra and winner of Gatorade the track and field award for athlete of the Year earned her an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award at the close of high school. Jones began her athletic career in the NCAA as one of the most talented hurdlers. She won the 100-meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she participated on the team finishing second for 100-meters relay. Jones won the NCAA Indoor Hurdles competition in the years 2003 and the 2004. The track career after she completed her studies at the end of 2005 Jones was able to begin training in pursuit of a track career. In 2005 she won first in the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she took in the Heusden and Ostrava athletes.

Growing up in Cape Town South Africa Brandt moved with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her in her late teens. Brandt was discovered by casting directors in her home town and was cast in the part as Naevia in the Starz hit Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. D Knight (Sam Raimi) and Steven S. D Knight (Steven S. D Knight) the actress quickly became a hit. Mazikeen, a fan-favorite DC/Vertigo character from comics as well as the Vertigo/DC series Lucifer was her role in this hit Netflix show. Forbes acknowledged Lucifer at the end of 2021, as the show which had the largest amount of viewers who binge watched. Brandt can next be seen opposite Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the 6 episode limited Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. Lesley-Ann Brandt is an South African actress born in Cape Town, South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt and her family relocated to Auckland in New Zealand in the year 1999. After just a couple of years being employed in the retail industry, she was promoted to an IT consultant. After several modeling assignments, Lesley appeared in many commercials. In 2008, she finished her acting studies. After that, in 2009 she continued her studies using the Meisner technique of studying. Lesley Brandt's debut notable actor role was on the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt has shown up on her role in the New Zealand TV drama series Shortland Street in a visiting support role. She then appeared on the sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life in which the story was based on the fictional city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt appeared as Naevia a young hostage in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. This character was later depicted in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
