Yael Stein, who is Australian and lives in New York City since 2013 She played Lorna Morrello's character in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael's early career has allowed her to work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael moved from Australia to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production of the show was a critical success. Yael co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative writing, and creative endeavors through it's Bushwick studio.
